What makes a premium TV worth the upgrade in 2026?
Buying a premium TV in 2026 is about more than getting a bigger screen. It is about making everything you watch look and feel better, whether you are enjoying a movie, following live sport or playing your favourite game.
A great TV should also perform well in the real world. That means delivering a clear picture in a sunny South African living room, smooth action during a fast football match and impressive sound without needing a complicated home entertainment setup.
With the UR9S, UR8S and U7S Pro, Hisense offers three premium viewing experiences designed around these everyday needs.
UR9S: Bring the cinema experience home
For those who want the best of home entertainment, the Hisense UR9S brings picture quality and powerful sound together.
Its advanced RGB MiniLED technology controls red, green and blue light independently, producing richer, more lifelike colours. From colourful nature documentaries to dramatic movie scenes, images feel more natural, with bright highlights and impressive detail.
The UR9S also features Anti-Reflection & Glare-Free technology, helping reduce distracting reflections so you can enjoy your favourite shows even when sunlight enters the room.
And with immersive 4.1.2 multi-channel surround sound, movie nights become more exciting. Dialogue feels clearer, action sounds more powerful and the entire experience becomes more engaging.
It is designed for people who want their living room to feel like a personal cinema.

UR8S: Beautiful colour, whatever you’re watching
The Hisense UR8S brings RGB MiniLED technology into a premium TV designed for everyday entertainment.
Colours appear vivid and realistic, helping everything from sports broadcasts to travel documentaries look more engaging.
Its Anti-Reflection & Glare-Free screen also makes viewing more comfortable during the day, reducing the need to close curtains whenever you want to watch TV.
For sports fans and gamers, Native 180Hz Game Mode helps fast-moving action appear smoother and more responsive. Whether you are following the ball across the pitch or racing through a virtual world, movement feels more fluid.
The result is a TV that makes everyday entertainment feel like a special occasion.

U7S Pro: Built for action, ready for everything
For households that love gaming, sport and movies, the Hisense U7S Pro delivers an exciting balance of performance and picture quality.
Its Hi-QLED MiniLED Pro technology creates bright, detailed pictures with strong contrast, helping dark movie scenes reveal more detail while colourful content comes alive.
Native 165Hz Game Mode helps deliver smoother, more responsive gaming, while AMD FreeSync Premium Pro helps minimise screen tearing during supported gameplay.
Anti-Reflection & Glare-Free technology keeps the picture easier to see in bright rooms, while immersive 2.1.2-channel sound adds depth to movies, sport and games.
