UK retailer Next comes to SA through Spree.co.za
Spree.co.za, a part of Naspers’ e-commerce division, has announced an online partnership with one of the UK’s largest clothing retailers, Next.
The Next range of clothing and footwear will be available to South Africans online via Spree.co.za, from 3 September, 2014.
Next Retail comprises of a chain of more than 500 stores in the UK and Ireland, while Next International has almost 200 predominately franchised stores around the world.
For South Africa, the UK retailer will use Spree.co.za as a third party partner for online sales.
The local online retailer “will take care of international shipping costs”.
“It allows us to complement our existing offering to customers, while also offering the benefits Spree’s unmatched free delivery and 30-day free returns policies”, said Spree.co.za GM, Louna Lohann.
Next already has a country-specific website, enabling South Africans to purchase its goods, with free delivery on all orders over R250.
Orders under R250 are charged a delivery fee at R40.
