MWEB Business launches uncapped satellite products
MWEB Business has launched a suite of uncapped satellite connectivity products, with prices starting at R915 per month.
MWEB said that its new uncapped satellite products provide “affordable uncapped connectivity to users living and working in remote parts of South Africa, as well as on the outskirts of the major metropolitan areas”.
The uncapped options are available in speeds ranging from 1Mbps to 10Mbps, with prices ranging between R915 per month and R3,075 per month.
“In certain scenarios, the initial capped offerings have not been able to adequately address the “always-on” needs of businesses that depend on the Internet for their day-to-day operations,” said Hennie van Tonder, head of products at MWeb Business.
According to van Tonder, demand for the MWEB Business VSAT service has been particularly high from the mining, agricultural, construction, and education sectors.
