TripAdvisor has published a list of of the world’s best fine dining restaurants, with French eatery Au Crocodile in Strasbourg rated number one.
The winners of TripAdvisor’s 2018 Travellers’ Choice Restaurants Awards, are decided by an algorithm that analyses millions of reviews and opinions collected in a single year from global travellers.
Within the list of 25 restaurants selected by the group, is a South African eatery – La Colombe – Constantia – which is ranked sixth.
Au Crocodile scored 4.5 out of 5 from 1,305 reviews.
A 4 course meal starts at €108 (R1,700), moving up to €148 (R2,300) for a six course meal
And expect to pay R1,460 for a Gourmand Menu at La Colombe, and R2,390, with wine pairing.
