Watch: Jeremy Clarkson roasts Zuma on Grand Tour
Jeremy Clarkson’s Grand Tour show aired this weekend featuring a pit-stop in South Africa, where president Jacob Zuma featured prominently.
The second episode of The Grand Tour was filmed in Johannesburg and was available on Amazon Prime Video on 25 November 2016.
In typical Clarkson fashion, the journalist did not hold back on the president’s lavish lifestyle, and grasp (or lack thereof) of mathematics.
In its review of the show, UK scribe the Guardian noted that Clarkson and his co-presenters “kept the references local, with a running gag about President Jacob Zuma’s inability to read out long numbers, his taste for state-funded luxury goods, and a segment where the trio dwelt on carjacking rates in South Africa”.
The debut episode of The Grand Tour set a new streaming record for Amazon Prime Video, the company said.
