Take a look at Jeep’s electric SUV line-up for 2025
American automaker Jeep is planning to broaden its horizon to electric powertrains in a move shared by various other international vehicle manufacturers.
The company plans to bring four fully-electric SUVs by 2025, including two all-new models. The brand will initially only introduce the vehicles into North America and Europe.
Jeep said that by 2030, it expects 50% of sales in the US and 100% of its sales in Europe will be battery-electric vehicles.
Driven by the success of our electrified 4xe (Wrangler) portfolio in North America and Europe, we are designing and developing the most capable and sustainable Jeep SUVs to date, on our path to becoming the leading zero-emission SUV brand in the world,” said Christian Meunier, Jeeps chief executive officer.
The cars will include:
- The Jeep Recon, a zero-emission built as a nod to the Wrangler, not a replacement – is set for 2024.
- The Jeep Avenger, a smaller SUV designed more for the urban landscape, will be released in 2023.
- The Wagoneer S, a fully-electric luxury full-size SUV to be released in 2024.
Details on a fourth vehicle were withheld by Jeep alongside any indication of pricing.
