This is probably the best airline ticket in the world

 ·17 Oct 2015

United Arab Emirates airlines, Etihad Airways has unveiled a new seating addition to its A380 planes – dubbed “The Residence”.

The new ‘seats’ are luxury living spaces on flights, and will set you back at least R260,000 ($20,000) to book.

The space is described as “a step above first class” and was created in partnership with charter specialist Chapman Freeborn.

Each “residence” covers 125 square feet (11.5 square metres) and offers a small lounge, and en-suite bathroom and a double bed to sleep on.

Adding to the luxury package, each room has its own butler to serve passengers.

There is also a concierge team, which offers a range of services including dining reservations, entertainment bookings, special events, destination information and lifestyle services.
