Fans were invited to vote for their favourite local venues to appear on the board from when the game launched in May.
Regional versions of the Monopoly board game have been produced for the last 15 years and to date the game is licensed in 103 countries, through gaming company, Hasbro.
Monopoly has many different versions in South Africa, including a ‘Monopoly Junior’, ‘My Monopoly’ and DC Comics Retro Monopoly, ranging between R219.90 and R650.
