Zuma congratulates President-elect Trump

South African President Jacob Zuma has congratulated the United States President-elect Donald Trump for winning the presidential election that was held on Tuesday.
President Zuma on Wednesday conveyed a congratulatory message on behalf of government and the citizens. He conveyed his best wishes to the President-elect and looked forward to working with Trump to build on the strong relations that exists between the two countries.
The Presidency said South Africa further looked forward to working closely with the new administration in the United States in promoting peace, security and prosperity around the world, especially on the African continent.
