A look at the new stunning 15-storey development in Rosebank
Property group Redefine is currently working on a new 15-storey development in Rosebank, dubbed the “Rosebank Link”, which is set for completion in 2018.
The building will be located in what is now known as the Rosebank Mews, and forms part of the R7 billion facelift that the area has been going through for the past few years.
Construction on the Link started with demolitions in 2016. When complete, the building will have an estimated gross lettable area of over 19,000 square metres with approximately 817 sqm of retail on the ground floor.
Rentable space is currently listed at around R265 per sqm.
While Redefine has not disclosed the cost of the project, construction and project tracking group, Leads 2 Business, estimated the costs at over R1 billion.
According to Redefine, the Link is a key part of its strategy to become the “landlord of choice for premium space” in top economic nodes like Rosebank.
“The future demand for Premium and A-grade office space in Rosebank is anticipated to rise significantly. We are excited about introducing this icon to Rosebank’s skyline,” the group said.
The Link will also be designed and built to meet environmental sustainability targets, and will meet the standards of a four-star green-rated building.
