The top 5 South African game lodges in 2019 – including one outside of the Kruger Park
New World Wealth has released a new report focusing on the top game lodges in South Africa.
The report is based on interviews conducted with top-end travel agents and frequent travellers across the country.
Out of the five highest ranking game lodges, just one is situated outside of the Kruger National Park – Bushmans Kloof in the Western Cape.
The five-star Bushmans Kloof is based on a 7,500-hectare property at the base of the Cederberg Mountains, 270km from Cape Town.
The property is also a South African natural heritage site and is home to over 130 documented Bushman rock art sites and the internationally renowned Rooibos tea.
Other lodges featured in the top five include the world-renowned Londolozi, Singita and Savanna in Sabi Sands, and the Ngala Tented Camp in Timbavati.
