OUTsurance gets the go-ahead from Ireland
OUTsurance Group Limited (OGL) says its new subsidiary, OUTsurance DAC, has received authorisation to operate in the Republic of Ireland.
The subsidiary got the green light from the Central Bank of Ireland to operate as a non-life insurer, working in the personal car and home insurance markets.
“OUTsurance DAC is expected to commence operations in the first half of 2024,” the group said.
“The authorisation process with the Central Bank of Ireland was highly efficient and has been achieved in line with the expected timelines.”
The group previously said that expansion into the Irish market allows it to diversify its long-term growth and leverage a business model into a new and growing market.
