Free Uber rides in March

Uber is offering Joburg, Pretoria and Cape Town residents free Uber rides in March.
The promotion is in partnership with Volkswagen to celebrate the launch of the new Volkswagen Up.
The campaign period will run from 2 to 8 March 2015, between 13h00 and 21h00 during the week, and 15h00 and 23h00 on weekends, the company said.
To take part in the campaign, Uber users can enter the promo code: UBERUP to access the special.
All Uber rides ordered this way (through the VW icon) will be completed in the new vehicle.
The promotion only allows for two free trips, lasting no more than 20 minutes or 20km in duration or distance.
There is also a maximum of three passengers per vehicle, Uber said.
