Glassdoor, a global recruitment company, has published a list of the strangest job interview questions, asked by some of the biggest companies in the world.
“Job candidates should be ready for any question asked of them in an interview – even the most difficult and bizarre,” Glassdoor said.
Based on thousands of interview questions shared by job candidates in each country over the past year, Glassdoor picked out some of the strangest, and toughest questions job seekers could face when interviewing for any position.

- Asked at Standard Bank Group: “If the time is quarter past 3, what is the angle measurement on the clock?”
- Asked at Delta Air Lines: “How many basketballs would fit in this room?”
- Asked at Boston Consulting Group: “If you were a brand, what would be your motto?”
- Asked at Dropbox: “If you’re the CEO, what are the first three things you check about the business when you wake up?”
- Asked at Space Exploration Technologies: “When a hot dog expands, in which direction does it split and why?”
- Asked at IBM: “How many hours would it take to clean every single window in London?”
- Asked at StackAdapt: “How would you shuffle a deck of cards?”
- Asked at Sunwing Airlines: “We meet on an elevator, and you have until we reach the 10th floor to convince me that you’re right for the job. Go!”
- Asked at Tim Hortons: “What was the last thing you Googled?”
- Asked at Trader Joe’s: “What would you do if you found a penguin in the freezer?”
