Stop paying your TV licence: EFF

Julius Malema, leader of The Economic Freedom Fighters, called on South Africans to not pay their TV licences.
Malema was addressing supporters at the party’s one year anniversary at Thokoza Park in Soweto
He lashed out at the SABC for failing to broadcast the rally live. He called on supporters to not pay their TV licenses, and said nothing would be done to them if they absconded from paying.
“They can’t even take you [to] the credit bureau,” he said.
The City Press reported that Malema called on his members to burn their licences.
“All of us here must stop paying TV licences; there must be a march where all of us are going to burn our TV licences in front of the SABC,” the EFF leader said.
