A look at the R55 million ‘Neo-classical Palazzo’ up for sale in South Africa

A six-bedroom property in Sandhurst, Johannesburg, with 8,500 sqm of “verdant gardens”, is on the market for R55 million.

Pam Golding said that the “Neoclassical Palazzo” is situated on nearly two acres of prime real estate with views of Sandton.

The property features a dome skylight, a sweeping staircase, a patio and several reception areas, such as a baronial-sized dining room serviced by a pre-drinks anteroom.

It also has a fully-fitted study with its own entrance, a hotel-sized pool, gardens, tennis court and separate jacuzzi and change rooms.

The main bedroom suite has its own lounge area, his and her dressing room, and a bathroom.

There are also three other bedroom suites, while the fully self-contained guest cottage comes with its own lounge, kitchen, two bedrooms and a bathroom.

There is also staff accommodation with two self-contained rooms, six garages and extra parking.
