Value fashion retailer Mr Price said online sales increased by 195% in results for the 26 weeks ended 27 September 2014.
The group took its homeware division, Mr Price Home online in November 2013, along with and Sheet Street, while Mr Price Apparel launched its online sales platform in South Africa in July 2012 and internationally in July 2013.
And in July, the group launched MRP Mobile, a 55% held subsidiary, offering cellular products to customers.
In South Africa, bricks and online retail sales grew by 13.4% to R7.2 billion, ahead of the market, Mr Price said, while online sales in SA grew by 195.3% to R44.7 million.
Overall online sales were up by 185.2% to R53.2 million, with international online sales up 142.3%, albeit off a low base.
Overall Mr Price said that revenue climbed 14.7% to R8.3 billion, while profit from operating activities improved 22.6% to R1.24 billion.
The group announced diluted headline earnings per share of 349 cents, up 23.0% and dividends per share (DPS) of 211.5 cents, up 25.9%.
